The beauty of nature, the hospitality of the locals, and the spirit of unity in diversity inspired Mirosław Wawrowski, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in Gdańsk and founder of the Charlotta Valley, to create a unique cultural park “Little Indonesia”. In 2022, he began to realize this vision, with the first stage being the island of Bali, which was named “Bali Indah”, meaning “Beautiful Bali” in Indonesian.
Thanks to the fruitful cooperation of Mirosław Wawrowski with Indonesian Institute of Arts in Bali (ISI Bali), the complex Bali Indah is being created in accordance with authentic traditions, reflecting the true character of this extraordinary island. Its construction is the result of the work of true craftsmen and artists from Bali, who resided in the Charlotta Valley during the project execution.
These are people with extraordinary talents, who, thanks to their skills, create an authentic Balinese atmosphere. Thanks to their passion and precise work, the complex gains a unique character. The materials used, such as stone and wood, come partly from Bali. The furniture and decorations are true works of art – crafted by local artisans, giving the space a distinctive, unique appearance.
